Learn English by dubbing it.
Pick a short scene. We take the voice out. You put yours in, and hear how you sound next to the original.
One scene, four steps
- 1
Watch the scene
Play it with the voice, then without. The script follows along word by word.
- 2
Record your voice
The scene plays without its voice. Say the lines as the characters speak.
- 3
Listen back
Hear yourself in the scene. Retake it as often as you like.
- 4
Keep your dub
Upload your best take. Record again any time to replace it.
Shadowing, with a scene to play
Shadowing means speaking along with a native speaker, copying their words, rhythm and tone as closely as you can. Language teachers use it to train pronunciation and fluency.
Dub-zi turns it into something you want to finish: a real scene, a role to play, and a dub of your own at the end.
- Short scenes. 10 to 30 seconds, a few lines each.
- Your level. Scenes are marked from A2 to C1.
- Practice mode. Play the original voice quietly while you speak.
