Terms of Service

Last updated 15 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Dub-zi (https://dubzi.reelzpro.com). By using Dub-zi you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

The service

Dub-zi helps you practise speaking English by recording your own voice over short video scenes. We may change, add or remove features, and we may pause or stop the service. Dub-zi is currently free; if that changes, we'll tell you before you're charged anything.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your Google account secure and tell us if you think someone else has used it.

Your recordings

  • You own your voice recordings.
  • When you upload a dub, you allow us to store it, process it (for example, mixing your voice with the scene's background sound), show it to you, and let the Dub-zi team review it, all only to run and improve the service. This permission ends when you delete the dub, except for copies we must keep by law.
  • Only upload recordings of your own voice, or of people who have agreed to it.
  • You can replace or delete your dubs at any time on My dubs.

The scenes

The video scenes on Dub-zi are provided for personal language practice. A finished dub contains the scene's video and background sound, which may belong to someone else. You may watch and download your dubs for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Some scenes allow sharing: for those, Dub-zi offers a share link and posting to apps such as Instagram, and you may share your dub that way, for non-commercial purposes. Don't share dubs of other scenes, and don't sell dubs or the scenes. When you post a dub elsewhere, that platform's terms apply too, and we may ask you to remove a post if a scene's owner objects.

If you believe a scene on Dub-zi uses your content without permission, email [email protected] and we'll review it promptly.

Acceptable use

Don't:

  • upload anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or otherwise abusive;
  • impersonate someone else or record someone without their consent;
  • try to break, overload or get around the security of the service;
  • use bots or scripts to access the service or copy its content in bulk.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Ending your use

You can stop using Dub-zi at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing [email protected]. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.

No guarantees

Dub-zi is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it working and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that transcripts and timing will be perfect. It's a practice tool and doesn't replace a teacher or a recognised language qualification.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Dub-zi isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let signed-in learners know in the app. If you keep using Dub-zi after a change, the new terms apply.
